Suoi Nuoc Mui Ne has the coastline of 10 kilometers, is situated in Mui Ne ward. Its two ends are famous tourist attractions Hon Rom island and Hon Nghe islet (a small turtle- shaped like island reaching out to the sea. Suoi Nuoc Mui Ne is located along the Route No.706, which leads to the White Sand Dunes of Phan Thiet; this is also a coastal tourism route leading visitors from HCMC to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang and vice versa. This area was formerly a small fishing village; in 2000 it was developed and planned for tourist development purpose when the area of Ham Tien - Mui Ne became crowded. Located about 20 kilometers northeast of Mui Ne, Bau Trang is like Sahara’s sand dunes.The sand here turns from golden to pure white (red sand can be found in the south of some Mui Ne’s villages).

Bau Trang area contains 3 lakes: Bau Ong (Gentleman Lake), Bau Ba (Lady Lake) – the largest lake, Bau Xoai (Mango Lake) - the smallest lake, and some ponds. Bau Ba covers an area of 70 hectares; the widest area is 500 meters; the average depth is 5 meters, but in rainy season, the deepest point may be 19 meters underneath . The total volume of water contained in the two lakes is 12,131,900 cubic meters. The deepest part of the lake is covered by hundreds of lotus flowers blooming all over the lake when summer comes, making the the area more beautiful.

One side of Suoi Tien faces alternate red and white sand dunes, the other side faces a coconut row, and evergreen, luxuriant shrubs. The stream bends itself through the multicolored sand dunes, creating a wonderland-like scene. Between the sharp peaks, there are slits and alleys which are ideal places for adventurous climbers.

Mui Ne fishing village

Mui Ne fishing village is about 3 kilometers north of Mui Ne town. Right on the path to the village, you can see hundreds of colorful fishing boats floating on the water surface. Not far away from the port, there is a small and peaceful market surrounded by coconut rows. Walking along the beach which is filled with seashell, especially along the port area and southern area of the town, you will see how fishermen do their job.

Buy fresh seafood right at the port or enjoy steamed seafood in local small restaurants. The best time to visit the fishing village is in the early morning or late afternoon.

Ke Ga Lighthouse

At the distance of 30 kilometers south of Phan Thiet, there exists a sea area known as the home of Ke Ga Lighthouse. This sea area is amazingly stunning with colorful rock reefs.

Buit in 1897 by a French architect named Chnavat, the lighthouse is considered as one of the most beautiful lighthouses in Southeast Asia. The lighthouse is 25 meters from the sea surface; and it is 41 meters from the base to the top. Ke Ga Lighthouse possesses the classic beauty of the West and is considered as a precious artwork made entirely from marble. This special architectural monument and picturesque landscapes have made Ke Ga Island and the lighthouse become one of the tourist attractions of Phan Thiet in recent years.

Ta Cu mountain

Ca Tu mountain is a must-go tourist site for any tourist to Phan Thiet-Mui Ne.
