Where to go in Da Nang?

1. Ba Na – Nui Chua: 

This is an ecotourism and resort area combined with amusement parks which are equiped with modern equipment. The air is fresh and the weather is cool throughout the year, making this the most ideal place for resort in Da Nang. Coming to Da Nang, tourists not only can discover amazing scenic sites but also will have chance to experience Ba Na Hill’s cable car which holds record for  the longest one-wire sling in the world with the length of 5,777.61m. Besides, there are entertainment areas devided into many “gardens” that suit all ages such as: love garden, grapes garden, fairy garden. Especially, at the top of the hill lies a village with villas of French architecture.

2. Ngu Hanh Son (marble mountains):

This is the mountain that almost all Vietnamese people knows. The mountain possesses various beautiful landscapes, mysterious caves and especially, it has a large amount of marble. The mountain is a rich source of minerals, however, the government banned all activities relating to stone exploitation at this mountain since the exploitation may destroy the natural scenery.

Coming to Ngu Hanh Son, you will be so immersed in the stunning beauty of rolling mountains and forests that you may hardly leave.

3. Son Tra peninsula:

Son Tra peninsula, with its breathtaking natural scenery and ideal weather, is a perfect place for relaxation and sightseeing. From the peninsula, you can enjoy the view over the sea or Hai Van pass and the whole Da Nang. Today, asphalt roads are built around  the peninsula, and resorts are mushrooming to serve large flows of tourists from abroad and everywhere in the country. Not only can you admire the magnificent scenery, you can also explore precious and rare animals such as red-shanked doucs and red cheek gibbons.

4. Ghenh Bang:

Ghenh Bang is an amazing place with pillarlike large stones. People may think these natural creatures are manmade because it looks like rectangular prism stones stacked up by human. This is a special point that attracts tourists. To Ghenh Bang, you can capture photos of the beautiful scenery, and go swimming at the beach, go diving to admire coral reefs, or go fishing.

5. Hai Van Pass:

Hai Van Pass is cruggy but it is also known for magnificent scenery with majestic mountains. In the past, this pass, which was narrow, was the only path connecting Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue. At that time, the volume of traffic and vehicles was so high that accidents occurred frequently; for which, the government decided to build a tunnel running through the mountain to ensure safety for people when driving across this area. Today, fewer people go over the pass with commodities on their vehicles; sometimes, some motorcars go this way to let tourists enjoy the view of the majestic and breathtaking pass.

6. My Khe beach:

It is said that you will waste half your trip when coming to Da Nang if you don’t go swimming at My Khe beach. That is such a very beautiful beach which was listed in the top 6 most attractive beaches in the world with white, soft and flat sand, gentle waves, warm seawater around the year, and coconut trees on the seashore. The shoreface is flat so it is safe for swimming and suitable for underwater sports. Admission to the beach is free of charge.

7. Linh Ung pagoda:

Linh Ung is the largest pagoda in Da Nang. It lies against the mountain and faces the sea. Situated in an area named Bai But of Son Tra peninsula, Linh Ung pagoda attracts a lot of tourists (both domestic and international ones) as well as buddhists throughout the country for its wonderland-like scenery and sacredness.

8. My Son Holy Land:

My Son Holy Land is the place where many Champa cuture antiquities were found. It is considered as the old town of the Chams. Many towers built since long time ago are still in original condition. The attractions in this land are ancient tower temples which have been existing since fourth century, and the delicately sculptured patterns on stones telling stories about this holy land. If you love to explore history and ancient cultures, this is an ideal place for you to come.

9. Con market:

Con market is located in the central of Da Nang city. It has been there since very long time ago and today, it is famous for diverse and tasty food which lures both domestic and international tourists. At present, Con market is a tourism destination listed in Da Nang tour schedules.  

10. Non Nuoc Stone Sculpture Village:

Non Nuoc stone sculpture village is situated at the foot of Ngu Hanh Son mountain. This is a village specializing in making decorations, living utensils and stone souvenirs. Their products are ingenious, unique and different from the products of other places. So many years has passed, though the village still maintains this carrier.

11. Han River Bridge (Swing bridge) and Dragon Bridge:

Han River Bridge and Dragon Bridge in Da Nang are two bridges that attract many tourists in the country and international friends. They drop by for sightseeing and taking photos of the unique architectures that are nowhere else to be found.
