Ha Giang Mountainous area

Ha Giang is a Northern province in the mountainous area of Vietnam. Its eastern part borders Cao Bang province, and western part borders Yen Bai and Lao Cai province. Ha Giang also shares border with Yunnan – a province in southern  China.

In Ha Giang, there are high, rugged and rolling mountains with streams and rivers winding under theirs feet and numerous valleys; the topography is therefore quite complex and the climate is temperate around the year. Climatically, there are two seasons in this region, dry season and monsoon season.

Travel and Leisure Magazine used to praise Rice terraces of Sapa as one of the seven most beautiful and inpressive in Asia and the world. This place, located on the height of 700-1.500 meter above sea level, is where a unique farming method has been existing and developed by highland people.

Foreign tourists usually love to travel to Sapa to admire the scenery of rice terraces which are turning yellow, and experience homestay service with the local people. Recently, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has enacted the decision of recognizing Sapa rice terraces as national tourist attraction.

Ha Long Bay

Being one of the World Heritage Site, Ha Long is often complemented by presses as the most charming costal destination of Vietnam.

It is the uniqueness in the beauty and the topography of Ha Long Bay that makes it outstanding and attractive. You can find thousands of rock islands in various odd shapes emerging out of the sea surface. There are two types of island in Ha Long Bay: limestone island and schist island gathering mainly in two areas: southeastern part of Bai Tu Long Bay and southwestern part of Ha Long Bay.

According to statistics of the management board of Ha Long Bay, among the total 1,969 islands of Ha Long Bay, there are 1,921 limestone islands, many of which are 200 meters high.

If you take a trip around Ha Long Bay, watch closely the limestone mountains, you may sometimes think that you are standing in front of dragons flying out of the sea; which is the reason why this place is called Ha Long (Landing Dragon).

The Sand Dunes of Mui Ne is described as the moving sand dunes stretching for miles and in an uncertain large area. The tourist site which is considered as the most beautiful lies beside the road from Phan Thiet to Mui Ne, opposite Suoi Tien and Huong Tra restaurant.

Staying here just for a day, you will see wind blow all the time; which is the reason why numerous rolling sand dunes are created. A wonderful thing is from sunrise to sunset, the color of the sand dunes changes continuously, making you think that you are lost in the outer space.

Whoever you are, your age doesn’t matter, once you arrive here, you may be definitely so excited that you will climb up the high sand dunes to join the sand sledding game.
